WELCOME TO FLATLAND
Flatland is an internet enabled desktop app that runs 3D experiences called spots. These spots are written in 3DML, an HTML-like description that makes it easy to place and customize 3D building blocks on a grid. Blocks come in sets (blocksets) that the app downloads as needed. Spots can be created in the app itself by switching to builder mode where blocks are placed easily on a world grid. The resulting spot is exported to your hard drive and can be uploaded to any online storage service. Full 32 bit textures are supported and can be stored online as well.
Once you download the Flatland app onto your Windows 10 PC you can go to the SPOTS directory on the menu above to copy and paste spot URLs into the app to load each experience.

SPOT AND BLOCK FILES
Spot files are HTML-like descriptions in text that define how 3D building blocks are placed on a map. To see all the spots go to spots.flatland.com and you can open any of the .3dml files to see what goes into describing a 3D spot.
Blocksets are also a collection of HTML-like files that describe building blocks which are made up of polygons and core texture sets. A blockset is made up of block files and compressed using zip compression. You can download a block file, changes its extension to .zip and unpack it to see whats inside. To see all the blocksets go to blocks.flatland.com
